9-5

I got a gig working at the Amazon party this year through my sister.  Mike and I got to attend this same party a couple years ago with the boys and it was super fun.  Derek worked it to so I wouldn't have to go up there alone. I love my brother;)  He was such a good sport.  It was at Century Link field again and we were working on setting up the venue on Friday and then we worked one of the many craft tables on Saturday. It was pretty good money so I was more than happy for the employment.  I also thought it would be fun to wear my "fun hair" since no one knew me LOL

Our break room was the locker room for the opposing team at the field. Pretty fun:)

Merit badge camp-2015

Dallas was at scout camp for a week in the hot sun.  I was able to catch a ride up with Elese Tolson on parents night to surprise Dallas. I'm really glad that I was able to see him.  All the parents came so I think it meant a lot.  All the boys were sooo dark!  Dallas has had a nice tan all summer because of it.

Dallas and Nate Thomas were hurdling the garbage can and in the midst got knocked over.

Pool Time

We've sure had a warm summer!  We are lucky enough to go swimming quite a bit at the pool since it's so close.  Thanks grandpa, grandma and aunt Tammy!

Morning visitors

I woke up to a couple of extra people in my bed this morning.  I love how Brandon was cuddling with Cody.  Elijah is the bump on the other side all covered up.  Lucky I was able to get out of the sandwich alive:)  I love my boys!!

Baseball Game Time!

Took the boys to a Mariners Game.  It was pretty fun, even though we lost.  The boys had fun with their foam fingers and chowing down on the good grub there.

Better Late than Never

Ok finally playing catch up again!

Had a fun 4th of July. Saw the firework show in Eatonville on the 3rd with my brother Derek, Desi and Nick and Haven with my sweet boys.  It was a really nice show and there wasn't any traffic to fight.  We had a nice bbq with all the family on the actual holiday and then the cousins came over and we did some fireworks. Glad we have family to do such fun things with.

I thought of Mike and Jason and wondered if this is what they may have looked like back in the day:)

I
Dallas playing a little patriotic music himself while Uncle Rex watered down the lawn before the festivities started.

Straight Up

Hey you, Stop breaking your own heart by trying to make a relationship work that clearly isn’t meant to work. You can’t force someone to care about you. You can’t force someone to be loyal. You can’t force someone to be the person you need them to be. I’ll be real with you, sometimes the person you want most is the person you’re best without. You got to understand some things are meant to happen, but just not meant to be. Some things are meant to come in your life, just not meant to stay. Don’t lose yourself by trying to fix what's meant to stay broken. You can’t get the relationship you need from someone who’s not ready to give it you. And I know it’s hard when your heart has labeled that person as someone you could spend forever with, but you just have to accept that they’re not that person anymore. And you might not understand WHY NOW, but I promise you your future will always bring understanding of why things didn’t work out. TRUST ME. Don’t put your happiness on hold for someone who isn’t holding on to you. Some chapters just have to close without closure. Straight up. That broken thing you keep trying to put back together is keeping your life from that beautiful thing that’s waiting to be built. God loves you too much to answer a prayer that’s going to leave you hurt.
