Equipment Pick Up Day

Dallas was able to get his equipment for tackle football on Thursday night. He was so excited. As soon as he got home he put his uniform on and ran some passes with dad and grandpa. It was quite fun to watch as the helmet was pulling Dallas' head down from the weight. There were some pretty funny moments but he had so much fun. The other boys got into the spirit as well by coming out with their football helmets on.

Mini Farm Hands

The boys have been taking care of our friends animals while they are in Illinois for the week. We go over once in the morning and once in the evening to feed the animals and make sure they have water. We take care of a cow; Roger, two baby chickens, and two adult chickens. They switch everyday who they are taking care of for the day.

Field Day

The boys had their annual field day at school today. I was able to snap a picture of them wearing their new field day shirts. I haven't got to many details as I had to go to work when they got home but I'm sure I'll get details later. Also included are a couple pictures of Dallas at his football camp that he enjoyed for the past few days. Dallas is sure excited for the season to start offically:)

Another full timer

Elijah had his kindergarten promotion the other night at the school. They had a real nice program with pictures of all the kindergarten classes, morning and afternoon, that we got to watch while we waited for the actual program to start. Afterwards there was a little speech by the principle followed by 4 musical numbers that the kindergartners had prepared. Super cute. After the kids got their "certificates" we had refreshments. Dallas had his first night of football camp the same night so we had to go and pick him up afterwards. It's been a busy week with Mike's finals, football camp, and last minute school things. Elijah's last day is tomorrow and then the other two boys have their last day on Monday. The kids are looking forward to tomorrow as it's the long awaited field day-which just so happens to be a western theme this year! Can't wait to see what we manage to do this summer that will be fun for everyone.

12 Years-

Mike and I had our 12 year wedding anniversary on Sunday. My parents got us a gift certificate so we could go out and spend some time together so today we went to Olive Garden and had an "anniversary lunch" with Brandon. Brandon wasn't hungry he said, although he did eat a couple breadsticks, but he enjoyed watching cartoons on the kindle and coloring on the menu they gave him. The food was pretty good, like always. I couldn't believe how many people are there during the day in the middle of the week. After lunch we headed to Cold Stone to enjoy another gift certificate that my brother, Derek, got us for our birthdays. We never get to go out with our conflicting schedules so this was fun-I guess we are good for another year since that is about our normal date schedule. LOL!!!

Atomic Pop

In Mike's new band the colors are neon. So on Friday night we went to the mall and some other various stores looking for neon accessories and clothing for Mike. We found a few items-some cool high tops, bracelets, socks, bandanas and sunglasses. It's coming together pretty nicely.

Finally finished

For those of you waiting, I'm finally posting pictures of the playset. We finally finished it on Saturday and the boys couldn't be happier. It's fun looking out the window and seeing the boys swinging. Now on to the next project:)
