Iron Chef

My friend Dammond, took the boys and I to Iron Chef in Puyallup. Brandon is a picky eater as we all know so didn't want his picture taken when I had my phone out but he actually ended up eating 1 piece of chicken. It was super fun as we had never been there before.  Cody even took up the challenge of trying to catch the shrimp when the chef tossed it but he missed it.  Lots of yummy food though and the chef was really funny.  The boys were moaning on the way home since they ate so much.  It was fun though how everything came out in courses and all the fire, spatulas and knives chopping. Thanks D for a fun night!

Cody is 14!

I can't believe that Cody is 14 this year! It's also his "Golden Birthday".  I surprised him on his actual birthday by telling him that we were going to go to Target and get a few things but needed to run an errand first.  We went to get his friend Gary first and up until Gary actually got into the car he was completely unaware of what was going on.  It was pretty funny because I said I needed to turn around and so I pulled into their driveway and he was telling me to get out of there before they saw us hahaha. Gary came out and Cody was asking what was going on. I was dying!!  Leo's mom was dropping him off when we got home and then we left with the other boys to pick up Justin before heading to Reb Robin for dinner. It was a bit of a wait being Valentines Day and all but it was worth the smiles on his face. My friend Malissa joined us as well with Jordan and Leila and Malissa's dad. It  was a super fun night that I think he will remember for a long time.   Happy birthday Cody!

Cody birthday Part II

We had fun celebrating  Cody's birthday at FHE with all the cousins and family at  grandpa & grandma and Aunt Tammy's house.  He wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate icing.  It was nice and simple. He got a cool shirt, $$, and a rip stick.  My Cod Noser is sure growing up.  So many cool things happening for him this year-new hair style, getting taller (I'm way shorter than him now), registered for high school, and helps me with whatever I need. I'm so proud of him.

Vegas or Bust

I was able to go to Las Vegas and meet up with some of my best friends while I was going to BYU.  My roommate Sarah who was from Texas actually lives there now, she served her mission and fell in love with the place, so we stayed at her home. My other friends, Paula (Texas) and April (Utah) flew in and we met up at the airport where Sarah picked us up.  We were able to do a lot of catching up-it's nice when you can pick up right where you left off.  We weren't there long but it was definitely quality time spent and we will be seeing each other again hopefully in June up here!

Love these girls!
