Our Trip to the Coast

We just got back from a fun few days at the coast with my family. We left on Sunday morning and then got back Wednesday evening. My parents were there, Desi and Nick, and Derek. Mike couldn't come with me and the kids as he couldn't miss a whole week of class. The weather was beautiful while we were there. We went whale watching, saw a dock that had washed up on Agate beach from Japan and the Tsunami that occured there a year ago, went to the Yaquina lighthouse (the tallest working lighthouse in Oregon), went to the beach several times and played in the waves, went mini golfing and played in the batting cages, saw glass blowing art, and went in the hot tub. When we left on Wednesday afternoon we drove up to Tillamook and had ice cream at the cheese factory and then travelled up to Seaside for a bit where we let the boys ride the carousel and pick out souveniour hats at the hat shop. Before departing ways we ate dinner at McEwens's which had some killer fish and chips. My parents are already planning on next years.

Pretty flowers

Cody picked me this flower in the back yard-it was so beautiful that I thought I would share it.

G & G Visit

While my parents were here we did a few fun things. Grandpa and Grandma took Brandon on a little date to Toys R Us and McDonalds since he won't be spending a week with them this summer.
We were also able to go to Mama Stortini's and eat lunch in a "private" room that Desi had set aside for us. It was kind of nice but the kids got a little to relaxed in there as it didn't seem like a restaurant in a closed door room. It was fun though.
When my parents left they took two of my kiddos, Cody and Elijah. We will be picking them up in a week and exchanging Dallas for the two. I hope they are having fun.

New Dew

Went to the spa today with my mom with some fun certificates my sista bought for us. I got my hair done:) and my mom got a facial massage-she said it was sooooo relaxing! It was fun having our mother daughter date. I also made some cupcakes for a contest at work. They are suppose to look like corn on the cob: I used jelly beans and taffy to make the corn kernels and butter;)
