I went to the movies with Derek and Desi on New Years Eve. Haven't done that ever. We had been playing a game earlier and I had said if she wore this hideous outfit she had on that I would pay her way into the theater. Well joke was on me because she wore it. Luckily we were the only ones in the theater so the embarrassment faded after we took our seats. She wouldn't let me take any full length photos but to describe it-it was a bright, fuzzy unicorn two piece set.
I had fun playing around with snapchat, which is an app for your cellphone, during Christmas break. Haven got in on the action one of the times with Hello Kitty. My kids love to play with snapchat before school. I'm sure you'll see some more pictures on here with the boys before to long.
We got together at the grandparents and Aunt Tammy's for Christmas Eve with the family. We were able to get lots of pictures with the cousins and had fun thinking about Santa Claus coming in a few hours. Christmas morning Santa spoiled the kids...Dallas got a go pro set, Cody an Ipod, Elijah got a remote control car and Brandon got a camera from Santa. I love when Christmas actually falls on the Sabbath so we could go to church and feel what Christmas is really about. We were able to attend Sacrament meeting together before meeting the boys dad for the rest of their Christmas break. After dropping the kids off I went to my sisters and spent a few days with them. It was a nice break from school. Classes start again in January.
We had a fun Christmas holiday. We spent a lot of time together and enjoyed some fun outings. Dallas' hair was a little longer so I can't tell you how many times we played with it. We put it in braids, added beads and even played with different colors.
We took the boys up sledding on Crystal Mountain Resort. The boys had fun and didn't mind the 15 degree temperatures! I went down the hill with Dallas once and I was in the front. The powder kept blowing in my face so by the time we were down the hill my face was wet and cold. It was fun though!! Came back home and warmed up with some dinner and a movie.
Look at my cute missionary parents! They are really enjoying their time in St. George and have actually decided to extend their service at the store house for a year instead of 6 months like originally planned. They will do another 6 month mission after that somewhere else.
Richie gave the cousins a bag of clothes and the boys didn't want this sweater. SCORE for ME!
