Spring Concert 2018
The boys had their last spring band concert tonight. I love watching my kiddos play together. This will be the last concert they play together for a while but hopefully not forever. Cody received a band award for moving up to high school. Proud mama!

Girls Night
Sunday Walk
I took the boys on a hike to Decoursey Park in Puyallup. Unfortunately the hike ended with Cody getting into some stinging needle and Elijah stepping in a big pile of dog poo. We had to run over to my sisters house to clean shoes and get calamine lotion on his arm stat.
Mishaps
My niece Haven broke her leg under her knee jumping on a trampoline. Poor kid-I babysat her one day and had to have Cody carry her up the stairs because that cast makes her so much heavier.
Corky
Tacoma
My friend Malissa was in a car accident and asked me to drive her up to Tacoma so she could get checked for blood clots on the same day that I was asked to spontaneously watch Haven-it was a crazy day but super fun. I love hanging out with my niece.
39
One more year left in my 30's. I remember turning 30 and dreading that. I'm not dreading 40 though. Kinda like a milestone-I've accomplished a lot in my time here. On my actual birthday my friend Dammond took me to Trappers Sushi and had a delicious lunch and my boys and I went and played mini golf at Mike and Terri's golf course and then went to Red Robins for dinner-Brandon even told them it was my birthday so they brought me a free sundae. I was spoiled by my friends and family as always. I went out with some friends and my sister the day after my birthday-we went to Karma Indian (one of my favorite places).
Stress Reliever
In a few short weeks I'll be graduating with my associates degree. At times I get a little stir crazy and need to take a break from studying. Snapchat is a good distraction sometimes for a much needed break-a little piece of sanity.

Memories
I was going through some old photos in my storage and found this one one of Brandon when he was graduating from Kindergarten with his good friend Ka'eo Smith and then one with the boys and Grandpa Bob back in 2014.

Bad Day
So this is the after picture. The Thursday before Memorial weekend I took the boys to Heritage Park, over by Rogers High School, and while the boys were playing baseball and I was on the trail...some awful person broke my window and STOLE my purse! I have never felt more violated....so infuriating. I rushed home and started calling my banks and all the cards that were in my wallet that I could remember to cancel. Whatever scum stole my purse had already spent $1000 on a credit card at Home Depot within an hour of stealing my purse and then the next morning when I had to do a fraud report at the bank they had done another $2000 on a different card. I have no words to describe how upsetting this was or all the trouble that I had to go through. I had to go to so many places getting new ids, setting up new accounts, calling the credit reporting agencies and putting holds on my accounts and everything else. I couldn't get my window fixed for a week so the boys and I took everything out of the van in case it got broken into again while sitting at our apartment. Luckily it never rained once while this whole ordeal was going on and my sweet friends, Bill and Tracy Langley, asked if they could pay for my window to be fixed as the insurance wasn't going to cover it. Love my guardian angels.

Muffins
Muffins with Moms was super fun this year! Brandon and I were able to eat muffins and juice before school and get our picture taken before I had to take off for school. I love being able to do things like this with my kids. I can't believe I'll only be able to do it one more time before he moves on to Middle school.

Brandon
Brandon worked on a project where he wrote about a major volcano and got to represent it using clay. He chose Mount Kilimanjaro for his volcano. We went to Target and bought the clay and he molded it and painted it himself. He was super excited to take it to school and said he got lots of compliments from his friends.
