Mothers Day
My boys did it again-I am so grateful for my children. I was treated to a whole house cleaning, delicious breakfast of waffles, and a beautiful bouquet of roses with nice cards, coupon books, and chocolate bars. So much time, energy, love, sacrifice, patience, wisdom, the list could go on...goes in to being a mom, and I know on days like Mothers Day, it really gives the boys a chance to reflect on how much we as mothers do on a daily basis. I know they love me and appreciate me.
The kids enjoying a nice ride with their grandpa in his new Boattail Riveria (Hope I got that right:))
Blue Martini
The camera on my phone isn't the best, but these are a few pictures of Mike at his gig in Bellevue at the Blue Martini with Pretty Twisted. He plays the guitar and does a few raps. Oh he does sing,"Happy" by Pharrel:)
Cub Scout
Just wanted to throw a couple random pictures of Brandon and I waiting for the bus. Can't believe school is almost out and he will no longer be a kindergartner. Soon he will be waiting with his brothers for the bus in the morning, rather than with mommy after lunch:( This is Elijah on his first day of cub scouts. He loves it and has a great den leader right now, Sister Brewer.

Baptism Day
Elijah turned 8 and was so excited to get baptized. The morning of his baptism, Elijah and I went to Epic Donuts to get some special treats for the occasion. Both sets of grandparents were there to make the day even more special. In our stake we do child of record baptisms on the first Saturday of the month. After getting his interview with Bishop Simpson, we had the go ahead for May 3rd. I was able to go up front with Elijah in the chapel and say a little about him and what makes him special. After that we headed to the Relief Society room for the actual baptism. Michael was able to baptize Elijah while both of grandpas, Grandpa Cooper and Grandpa Stone were the witnesses. Aunt Lisa gave a nice talk on the Holy Ghost and what it means to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was a really nice day and I'm glad that so many family members were there to share it with Elijah.

Wild Rover
Went to Mike's gig with him up in Kirkland at the Wild Rover. Super fun night. We went to dinner before the show and the kids had a fun sleepover at their cousins house.
Double Birthdays
We celebrated Richie's 15th birthday and Elijah's 8th birthday at G & G Stone's home the day before Elijah's birthday. Lots of yummy cake and fun presents. We decided to go to Red Robins for a birthday treat on Elijah's actual birthday since we knew had mine and Mike's birthday coming up soon. The waiters sang to Elijah at the restaurant and brought him an ice cream sundae for a treat. Elijah said it was super yummy!!!
Easter 2014
Had a great Easter at mom and dad Stone's home. We had nice lessons at church learning about the Saviors Atonement and Resurrection. I know I'm so grateful for a loving Father in Heaven who was willing to provide a way for us to return to Him someday.
After church we had a little easter egg hunt for the kids and a nice dinner.
