Valentines Day
Here are a few pictures from the last couple of days. Brandon, Elijah and I took Cody out for a birthday lunch of his choice: Dairy Queen. Dallas was roughin' it making snow caves in the mountains at the time.
I went to help in Brandons class for their Valentine party and he was real proud showing me his bag full of Valentines. Another picture here of Elijah holding up his box for his party. He even needed to have Daddy hold up his Kaepernick jersey in the background.
This last one here is just a raondom one of Brandon. He fell asleep under the coffee table at grandpa and grandma's house. I knew it was rather quite;)

Cody is 10!
Cody turned the big 10 today! It was extra fun for Cody as the kids are out for Mid Winter break so he didn't have to go to school today. Cody is such an important member of our family and we love having this energetic one of a kind kid in our family. Cody is loving, thoughtful, hard working, sport loving, kind and stands up for what he knows is right kind of person. Cody just advanced in scouts after earning his Bear and is now a Webelo. Cody has been improving in school and enjoys math and playing with his friends. He is finishing up his basketball season for Bethel Rec and had lots of fun playing with his friends from school and making plenty of baskets. Cody said be really enjoys playing defense. Cody has always been the best Valentine present ever! We love you Cod noser;)
Happy Valentines Day
I'm trying to figure out how to do blog posts from my cell phone but for now this will be short and to the point. It's Cody's 10th birthday:) Hooray!! We love having Cody in our family and can't believe he is 10 already. Dallas is snow camping at Mt. Rainier with the scouts this weekend and Mike is playing two gigs in Sequim with his band, Pretty Twisted, so after I took the boys to the library we went to Grandpa and Grandma Stones. While there they happened to arrive with this new beauty! Hope everyone has a great Valentines Day/birthday:)

Post Holiday Wrap Up
I know I'm extremely late getting my Christmas post done this year but between my busy schedule, kids being out of school, and mandatory overtime at work, I haven't had a lot of time for things like this lately. We did have a wonderful Christmas though. I will forever remember this Christmas as the year of 49ers football. Cody and Elijah both got jerseys from Santa, Brandon got a Kaepernick shirt, Mike got a 49ers t-shirt, sweats, and lanyard, Dallas got a drawstring bag and lanyard, and I got a sweatshirt. One of these days soon we will get a group picture of our 9'er pride. We got a lot of fun presents from our families-thanks to everyone who made our Christmas so special. We even had a surprise knock on our door Christmas eve. When we opened the door there was a gift on the doorstep and also a gift card to a restaruant from a "Secret Santa". That was super fun for us. The boys are still having fun guessing who it was. Mike played at the 7 Cedars Casino again for New Years so we were apart but we did attend our own little celebration at my friend Angela's home. Their family invited us over for pizza and activities which was so fun. Every hour the kids took turns popping balloons and inside would be the details of a fun activity. Some of the things we did were play twister, make glow in the dark necklaces, glow stick wars, bubble blowing etc.. until the big moment-midnight. There were confetti poppers, hats, noise makers and pretty much enough ammo to give a huge headache;) My sister and her husband Nick also joined us there for the festivities so that was fun. 2014 has already begun. Mike is driving to Gig Harbor everyday for school and enjoying the scenery along the way. The boys have enjoyed being back at school although they have already suffered from getting colds already. Dallas and Cody have started their basketball seasons and enjoy playing. Dallas is also playing church ball so we get to see two games on Saturdays for him. I'll try to be more consistent with my blogging this year-(that is my New Years Resolution; we'll see how I do)

Gingerbread
Brandon had his Gingerbread Man party yesterday at school and I was able to go and help at it. They went on a gingerbread man hunt and then decorated cookies and listened to a story about a gingerbread man cowboy. It's always fun going to the kids' classrooms and helping-even if it's only for a little while. Brandon sure gets a big grin on his face when he sees me which makes it all worth it:)
