Northwest Trek

My friend Angela, invited us to Northwest Trek to go walking on some of the trails there. It was super fun and we saw a lot of animals and even got in one of the walking loops. We happened to go on one of the loops that goes through the zip lining. It looks totally fun and I would love for me and Mike to do it sometime on a date or something. *I also happened to run into one of my friends, Yessenia, who I worked with at the Holiday Inn. It was fun to catch up with her.

Grandpa and Grandma Stones birthdays

Obviously two separate parties, but wanted to get them in here:) Uncle Ron and Aunt Alice were up here when dad had his birthday so they were able to celebrate with us. I'm glad all the birthdays are over with for May.

Alone at the Park

Dallas was at a scout campout and I needed to go grocery shopping, so after we were done I promised the boys a few minutes at the Orting Park. No one was there-it was kind of fun having the place to ourselves:)

Cooper Visit

The kids were having fun spending time with grandpa and grandma Cooper on their last visit.

Field Trip to Ohop Indian and Pioneer Village

Hopefully I won't bore you with too many photos here. I was able to attend Brandons kindergarten field trip to the Ohop Indian and Pioneer Village. It was fun! I helped with a group of 5 boys. Brandon was really excited since his best friend, Ka'eo, was in our group. We spent the morning learning about the early pioneers in our area and seeing what kind of things they had to use to make food, and cut logs etc. It was really interesting. Brandon had a good time dressing up like a pioneer child and learning how to shave. A little girl wanted to shave him while he was at that station and he said okay but just don't get my mustache. haha

After lunch we headed over to the Indian Village where we got to see things that the indians in this area used for clothes, what kinds of activities they would do in their winter, fall, and summer houses. The kids even got the chance to make an arrow head and a bracelet.

Fun Times

Love it when all the kids are having fun playing with the cousins:) Makes my heart happy!

Goof Balls

The kids were being silly running and jumping into each others arms and seeing who could lift who up. Grandpa tried lifting Cody up at one point and I thought he might seriously hurt himself; I don't think he ever got him off the ground:) lol
